Conjugated expression (2): ‘앞으로 A 동안’

‘앞’ is a noun that means “front,” and ‘앞으로’ means “towards the front, from now on.” Therefore, ‘앞으로 A 동안‘ means “for the next A (A being the noun that refers to a specific time frame).” Let’s look at some examples to see how this expression can be used.

앞으로 한 달 동안 다이어트를 할 거야.
= I’m going to go on a diet for the next month. 

앞으로 일주일 동안은 정말 공부를 해야 해.
